ABOUT Amy:
Amy McFeely is a compassionate, client-centered counselling therapist with a strong commitment to supporting children, youth, and families through life’s complex challenges. Her therapeutic practice is grounded in evidence-based approaches, integrating Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Reality Therapy within a trauma-informed framework.
With over 15 years of experience as a school counsellor, Amy brings a wealth of clinical expertise and a deep sense of advocacy to her work. She specializes in child and youth mental health, offering a safe, affirming, and inclusive space where young people can explore their experiences, build resilience, and develop the tools necessary to thrive. Her approach is rooted in the belief that every individual has the capacity for growth, healing, and change at their own pace.
A key area of Amy’s practice involves supporting families of neurodivergent children. Drawing on both professional and lived experience, she helps parents and caregivers navigate complex systems by offering practical guidance, emotional support, and advocacy. Her goal is to ensure that families have access to the resources and strategies needed to support their children’s well-being.
Whether providing individual counselling to young clients, coaching parents, or delivering crisis support, Amy approaches her work with empathy, clarity, and unwavering respect. She is dedicated to walking alongside families, empowering them to move forward with confidence, understanding, and renewed hope.
